Instructions

This is the first project I ever mad with the Shaper Origin. I used the very excellent site dovetails.bieber.dev to design the dovetails. I included a .png file of the image on the site in case it helps anyone who wants to use the site to design dovetails. It took me a few tries to understand how to use the .svg files in order to create dovetails that fit right, so I wrote up some notes to myself for the next time in hopes it will make it easier to remember the steps. I have included those notes in the project files in case it will help anyone else. I recommend making the dovetails from scraps the first time, until you get the hang of it. Be sure to use scrap that is the same dimensions as your expensive wood, so they will correctly prepare you for any adjustments you need to make so they fit right.
