Materials

Oak 1” stock

Chair back and Steps are 15” long

Seat front and back are 16” long

SOSS 101 hinges

Inlay material Wenge 0.10” thick

Tools

1/4” for most of the cuts

1/8”, 1/16” and 1/32” for the inlay

Instructions

The back of the chair can be either a single piece or made of multiple pieces. To cut the tenons on the back piece the SO must be oriented sideways so the operator side is butted up against the back. I used the workstation vertically clamping the back piece in place and added additional shaper tape on the support. I added felt pads to the feet to protect our flooring. The hinge file is for reference as it is easier to add the hinges directly from the ShaperHub hardware files.
