Youtuber "Craftswright" designed a good and handy push block but which take some time to make. Now, with your Shaper Origin and this 'template', it takes you barely 5 minutes... I've included the Sketchup file so you can make your own flavour... Enjoy!

Materials

Just a scrap piece of (ply)wood measuring minimum 260mm x 150mm, minimum 18 mm thick (or 3/4" for the old school yanks still measuring with their limbs)...

Tools

• Shaper Origin (ideally with Autopass)

• 6mm router bit

• 3mm router bit

• round over bit

Instructions

• 'Cut' both the outer and the inner with Autopass and the 6mm bit (or take at least 3 passes with an incremental depth of no more of 6mm) and 0.5mm offset. • Switch to 3mm router bit and do a final pass without offset. • Ideally, bevel the inside and de backside with a round-over / bevelling router bit. The bigger the radius, the more friendly your push block becomes for your hands...
