Instructions

Mill hardwood to .75” thickness, and place multiple sticks as space allows. Use contrasting wood colors for best display. Engrave half of the sticks, as this will be your front display face. Pay attention to lap joint thickness, as it may need to be adjusted depending on your wood choice. Joint should be tight, but you should be able to pull apart without excessive force. Make template stick holder (same thickness as sticks). Check stick fit and adjust by using offsets. The stick should fit tight with no movement. Customize text. Engrave back side, with lap joint facing downwards. For added engraving contrasting: seal area with clear sanding sealer, add acrylic color, and plane with card scraper. Sand and finish as desired. Add hockey tape to blade area, and assemble lap joint (no glue). Designed to display 3 pucks. Designed in Shaper Studio using shape shifter to form complex stick shape. Engraving text is editable.
