Materials

• ½” Baltic birch ply for the steps & sides

• ¼” Baltic birch ply for the beak & wing “accents”

• Paint brand (for cloning project): Valspar brand paint

o Primary Pink: Magic Wand 1001-2A

o Wing Pink: Cosmic Pink 1001-1A

o Beak Yellow: Golden Spell 3004-1B

• Pocket hole screws for the steps attachment onto the sides panels

• Wood glue (recommend waterproof if going to use it for a bathroom environment)

• Non slip adhesive silicone furniture pad ( Amazon direct link: https://a.co/d/7hLAB1B )

Tools

• Shaper Origin

• Shaper Workstation (if you can modify and fit a large size board to incorporate)

• Shaper Tape

• 1/4" upcut bit

• Sanding device (hand or tool)

• Paint brush

• Wood clamps

• Pocket hole screws (if you want to use them for extra strength)

• Utility knife (to cut non slip pad)

Instructions

1. Cut out the pieces. The duck sides, beak & wing need to be done with shaper for accuracy. The steps and small braces below can be done by table & miter saw if preferred. 2. Sand pieces to clean up. 3. Decide how you want to mount the steps. In my case we used pocket hole screws on the bottom of each step and attachment into the side duck panels. An alternative is to do some type of joinery. 4. Glue up the steps and then then attach with joinery selection made. Wait for them to dry. 5. Glue up the beak and wings to the duck side body. 6. Paint with selected paint colors/details 7. Cut the non slip silicone pad to size preference and attach 8. Enjoy!
