I followed Sam’s video > very informative, especially when flipping the insert and mirroring the cut file. *The only deviation from his video was ripping plywood strips to make the top face of insert and plywood face coplanar - and - using the Amana 1/8” & Shaper 16mm bits. I added cut depths to the SVG file along with bit diameters.
