This is a first attempt at designing and cutting a cocktail smoker. The files are encoded with most of the depths, but you may need to adjust the outside cuts for the lid and the base, the chamber for the screen, and the smoke and vent holes, depending on the thickness of the stock you use. -I would recommend cutting the bottom of the base first. I used a piece of stock long enough to cut a 2" hole to remount the base to cut the other side. I added a picture of the hole, but forgot to get one of the base mounted in it. I just used double-sided tape to mount the base in the hole and then readjusted the height of the shelf. -I used the "Probe Circle" function to center the grid on the middle of the base and then imported the file for the top of the base. (The anchors are in the center of each file to make it easy to realign them.) Then I cut the outside rim, the large pocket for the inside, the shallow pocket for the filter screen lip, and the deep pocket for the screen basket. -For the lid, I started with the top, engraving the image and then cutting the outside. Again, you will need to adjust the depth of this cut depending on the thickness of the stock used. This still leaves plenty of surface area for the double-sided tape to adhere to when I flipped the lid over to cut the pocket inside of it. Test the fit of the base inside of the pocket before you remove the lid. I used a -.004 offset to get the lid to fit, but I should have gone a little bigger. If I make another one of these, I will take better pictures of the process and add them to this post. The engraved image was a combination of a couple of stock images from Shaper Studio and can be easily changed to something else. If you're wondering about the smiley face, those are just the smoke holes. After posting this I noticed that when you preview the files, you can't really see everything. Once you download them, you can see all the cuts and encoded depths in Studio or on Origin.
