I may be stuck on bottle openers, or hand mirrors. Good stocking stuffers. These are a quick cut out for your SO. The best thing is it gave me some practice on both the the WS and Plate. Workstation for cutting out a series of them and the Plate for holding and adding an engraving, inlay or initials.

Instructions

Design. Create 2 concentric circles. My inner circle is 1.1” inches diameter. My outer circle is 2” inches in diameter. Create the circles to size according to your opener hardware. 1. I used Studio first and then tried on tool programming to create SVG. Both are very basic. I also found a medallion logo on Studio to use on the back. 2. Set up and use WS to cut recessed pockets. Cut larger pocket first on outer ring and then then cut deeper recess .5” deep on inside ring. Slowly creep up on exact fit/width for bottle opener hardware. Pocket cuts followed by inside cuts. 3. Switch to outside cut on the outer ring. I used a 6.5 mm offset as I wanted a thick ring encircling the hardware. You could go thinner. Cut the medallion free from your starting scrap piece. 4. Switch to Shaper Plate to hold the cut medallion and engrave the logo on the back side. The reticle is perfect for aligning the circle medallion. A circle center finder gives you the exact center of the medallion for alignment.
