Instructions

Floating wooden floors are difficult to repair in order to replace pieces. This floor had some stains due to incorrect use of detergents. They were in the center of the living room and our client didn't have enough spare material. We therefore decided to replace the stains with new inserts obtained from a plank that the customer had found in the attic. With the pen function of Shaper we drew the shape we needed for each of the three spots directly on the staves. Once the pocket was created, we finished the cut with an inside pass. By placing the plank directly in front of the shaper tape we cut the three new "plates". With a chisel we removed them from the birch support and glued them on the boards in their respective positions. The color is currently not the same but time will do its duty to standardize the repair to the rest. Shaper helped us not to touch the flooring structure without compromising it and gave us the possibility to eliminate a defect by having little spare material.
