Boardgame Token and Card Tray

An easy to do boardgame helper to get your tokens and cards organised on the table. The boardgame I chose is just an example on how to use it. The material used itself is not simple wood, but some veneer layers glued onto it to show how easy it is to add some color to that simple tray. Materials

- Wood of any type at least 210x100x20mm in size

- Wood Veneer

- Wood or special veneer glue

- 2mm thick foam

Tools

- Origin

- Workstation

- 1/4 Inch cutter

- 3mm cutter

- Router Table

- Champfer bit

- Laser Engraver

Instructions

Prepare the wood. If you like it fancy, play with some veneers. Sand the surfaces smooth. Work with Origin - Cut the pockets of the tray using the 1/4 Inch router bit - Cut the 3mm card groove (on Line) - Cut the shape manually or using Autopass Work on the Router Table - Add a small Champfer on the top - Add a bigger Champfer on the bottom Work on the Laser Engraver - Use the SVG cut files with tools like Lightburn to cut some foam as inserts.
