This is a parametric wall project. It also works well as a sound diffuser. This project is approximately 8ft x 12 ft. You can scale it larger or smaller with Inkscsape software. https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.1.2/ More project info: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cb8L6krPuWX/?utm_medium=copy_link

Materials

QTY (89) 1" X 12" X 8' Boards.

*QTY (1) 1" x 12" x 12' board to hang cut boards from.

*QTY (1) 1" x 12" x 12' chanaled board to space lower end of hanging boards.

Optional: Oil,Stain,Poly coating.

* Hang board will be dependent on existing wall construction ( IE sheetrock vs block ). Expect hanging boards to weigh total between 800 and 900 pounds. Based on wood type used.

Tools

Origin Shaper w/ 1/4" x 1" upcut bit.

Plunge router with keyhole bit.

Screw gun.

Instructions

Boards are spaced 1 inch apart. They may be set up to 2 inches apart for a larger wall. Boards are cut with (3) passes at progressive 1/4 inch depth cuts. Aprox cut time per board set up to first rough sanding aproxamatly 30 minutes. I used a plunge cut table router with a keyhole bit at the top of each board to creat a hang piont I chaneled a 2nd board with tight fitting 3/4 inch groove to hold the board at there proper spacing at the bottom of the wall. Note: Based on type of wood, temperature, and humidity fluctuations, the boards may warp slightly. ( IE installed inside with AC vs outside on a patio ). In extreme conditions I would recommend chanaling sheets of plywood the whole length of the boards. I set the boards to be cut tightly between two other boards. I only needed one application of shaper tape applied to the outside guideboards for the whole project. Number the boards and there hang points
