This is a hardwood 'case' (100x200) for an iPhone 15 with Benks bumper that turns the whole into a digital bubble level with the Measure app (or Bubble Level app in the photo). Here is a fun little project that can test your sense of precision. It can also be used to check the precision of the construction of a ZSWS.

Instructions

I made this gadget because I wanted to use my iPhone as a bubble level but the buttons and the lenses at the back prohibit it to be used easily. Instructions - Prepare a piece of hardwood: make sure that it is of even thickness and perfectly flat. - Fix wood to workstation with double-sided tape. Leave enough room around it for a 8mm bit to pass around. - Make sure the top of the wood is level with the domino field - Grid and load file - Cut contour with Engraving bit @ 0.75mm (of inlay AND outside shape) - Pocket large shape with 8 mm rough bit to 11 mm - Cut release hole (with helixing) though the wood with 8mm straight bit - Cut large pocket to 12mm depth and small pocket to 14,5mm with 8mm straight bit - Test if the iPhone+bumper fits in the cut-out and make fine adjustments if needed. Make sure that it fits perfectly flat. - Cut the outside to the full thickness of the wood. (This ensures that the iPhone sits square in the holder and that the sides are square to the sides of the iPhone). - Remove from Workstation Enjoy you digital bubble level... Comments are welcome
