Tape Board™ to use with MFT and bench dogs. Size: 672 x 192 x 18 mm. (Or any multiple of 96mm) With 3 Tape Boards™ the MFT can become a large workstation. Tape Board™ is held in place with bench dogs or cut-off from a 20mm PVC pipe (used in Belgium to fix cables to a wall). 20 mm PVC connector pieces can be cut to slide over the 20 mm PVC tube so the Tape Board™ can be held to a specific height.

Pictures of the process: https://community.shapertools.com/t/how-to-make-tape-board-in-pictures/9310 Update: I added handwritten numbers on each board so that I can put the correct board in the correct place and orientation when I return to a project and recall the scanned workplace on the SO. You can engrave a number or dots on the board with the SO if you prefer. For those that like a drawing of the Tape Board© I have included a pdf with additional information. Update 2( foto 4): After some feedback I realized that I created a chicken-and-egg situation. You need a board with tape to make a Tape Board™. Now I have a solution: make 3 Tape Boards© in one go. It will take about 2 hours to cut all the holes. 3 up instructions: - cut board to size: 672x586 mm Place the Shapertape so that you can use it as a Tape Board™ when the boards are finally cut: - Mark a + where the tape must go with a pencil and set-square : 14 mm from the (both)side and @ 10,70,103,163,207,267,300,360,404,464,497,557 mm from the bottom - Lay the Shapertape between the + you just marked. (14 domino's x 12 rows). The bottom corner of the tape goes to the left side. First tape left side @ 14,10 ->658,10 Shaper Origin work: - Scan the board in the 1-2-3 direction (north, from the bottom) - Engrave and cut, according to the 3up SVG supplied, board 1 and 2 (Tip: use a 8 mm cutter and set the offset to 1 mm => you can now helixcut the 20 mm hole without moving the SO, final cut to size normally ) - Scan the board in the 3-2-1 direction (from the top) - Engrave and cut, according to the 3up SVG supplied, board 3 (during testing I found that moving the SO to the top and pointing it south also works and no need for a rescan) Cutting (with table saw or TS55) the separate boards along the long side: - First cut @ 197 mm from top and bottom. This should leave you with board 2 : 672x192 mm - Second cut @ 192 mm both board 1 and 3 - Enjoy your work : you now have 3 original Tape Boards™
