Instructions

1.) Setup Origin and your workpiece, however you prefer it. 2.) Start with all pockets, those are encoded as "interior cuts" - Start with depth 15mm and offset of 15mm do a helix plunge on all 16 holes - i used an 8mm roughing bit. Depending on your choice you may need more offset :) 3.) Do another round in the pockets, this time with 12,7mm offset 4.) Do the long pocket, use an offset of approx. 5mm (i don't really remember so be careful and try for yourself. remember you later want the nice round fillet to get the stones nicely out of the holes). 5.) OPTIONAL if you want to use the hinges i used, which are 10mm in diameter. plunge the holes 11mm deep with a helix cut. Change the Bit (Festool 490987) to make the inside of the holes.. i did 5mm depth per pass with zero offset 7.) OPTIONAL: create a chamfer for all holes with the engraving bit, using "on line cut". the holes in the picture were created with a depth of 1.2mm 8.) cut the outline, i did two passes each 9.5mm with a roughing bit and an offset of 0.8mm 9.) cut the last outline to the final depth with zero offset 10.) do it all again because you'll need a second one :] I'am looking forward to your feedback on this one, if anyone outside germany is able to send me sources for the hinges out of other countries i'am happy to add them here :) Rules can be found on: https://mancala.fandom.com/wiki/Wiki
