This is my first "published" project. I converted it to use my Origin from Popular Woodworking magazine issue #282, February 2025. It's made from California Black Oak and some White Oak for the legs. All the joinery, inlay, arches, etc., were cut with my Origin. The inlays are Walnut.

Instructions

This is my first published project. The cut files are basically correct; I used them to make what you see. You will still need the article to make the blanks. Be advised that there are inconsistencies between the article and the cut plan in the magazine. The article text is more accurate, but of course it expects you to use traditional methods of construction. Oh, and it took me at least 3x longer to make it with the Origin, but I had a great time working it out! The leaf pattern was found in Studio, and was filled with green and gold colored epoxy.
