Materials

Make sure to use hardwoods with a history of use in cooking. I used cherry, hard maple, white oak and walnut.

Blank rough dimension- 12.5"x2.5"x0.25"

I made the dimensions slightly longer and wider than the cut file.

Tools

Shaper Origin

1/8" upcut spiral bit (this gave a nicer radius around the inside of the spoon)

Sandpaper- up to 180 grit

Instructions

This is a great beginner project! I made a dozen of these on the Shaper Origin in under an hour. Check out the video above for more instructions and guidance on finish! Also- Check out the project page for additional instructions: https://www.dubosewoodworking.com/free-plans/
