A couple of years ago I had seen a tree like that in a window in the Italian mountains. I cut two similar trees with a jigsaw then and used a router for edge trimming. Now a new version for the SO is born. Subtitle: save the trees! This one lasts for many years!! It's dedicated to Mirja from the German ShaperTeam.

Router bit 6mm
Just cut the 3 sides, they are put into the socket plate, glued and on top glue in the little triangle for stabilization. I only sanded the corners a little bit manually (grit 120). Small tree: Files 01 and 02 The bigger version is just the same, files 03 and 04, optionally you might use file 05 instead of 04 to have a smaller stand for it. The picture shows only the small variant (20mm thick), I hope I can add more in a couple of days.
