Straightforward mounting plate to permanently affix to your Rikon grinder. Then you can use a pair of Power-Loc Dogs from https://tsoproducts.com/bench-dogs/power-loc-bench-connector-dogs/ for a great quick-release system. I use the same Power-Loc Dogs to quick release my Shaper Workstation as well with this project https://hub.shapertools.com/creators/6062d57fe8de21001281fde6/shares/61be6ae2d0a1c3001b9776b7

(2) TSO Power-Loc Dogs

(2) 1/4-20 bolts 2" long

(2) 1/4-20 washers

(2) 1/4-20 nuts

Tools

1/4" upcut bit (stock Origin bit is fine)

Instructions

Cut a piece of MDF 10"x8-3/16" Mount MDF with a couple pieces of double-sided tape to the Origin shelf Grid any size off lower left corner All cuts are inside with a zero offset First cut the through holes for the bolts to mount to grinder with helical plunge of .75" Now cut the recess for the bolt heads at .22" deep Cut the six 20mm holes to .75" depth Before removing plate from shelf, check fit with dogs and recut with positive offset until dogs fit well. I ended up at +.003" (NOTE: Only outer 4 holes are needed) Bolt plate to grinder and center it Mount grinder to MFT table, Paulk workbench, or any other self-made 20mm on 96mm center work surface with a 5mm hex wrench. [optional] Chamfer holes with a chamfer tool or palm router and chamfer bit. The TSO Power-Loc Dogs are designed to countersink flush with top just slightly. [also optional] Added a version 2 file for a 10"x16 plate". This is to accommodate a wider base for Savannah Pro Grind or Oneway Wolverine sharpening system.
