mosquito coil coaster
I salvaged som lime green cork backed linoleum floor tiles and came up with the idea of making coasters based on the shape of interlocked mosquito coils.

Materials
20x20 cm plywood, mdf, plastic, Lino floor tiles or similar. Wood with grain if cross laminated.
Tools
Origin, 3 mm cutter.
Instructions
You could use any material that withstands heat. Both spirals are cut with the 3 mm cutter in one go, starting in the middle and moving both spirals out from senter so the cutter can't make the spiral flex.
