This a very simple project to build and it will be a great success with your kids. At least it was for me :) You can go as crazy as you want or just cut a single ice cream out of one piece of maple.

Materials

You can use whatever wood species you want for this build. I've chosen Maple as the base and walnut as a chocolate cover

Tools

Shaper Origin + 6mm cutter

Wood finish of your choice

Instructions

Prepare the wood according to your liking. I've chosen to do one a bit more complicated and glued on walnut pieces on all sides to create a chocolate look. With a workstation you can easily cut almost the whole project in one go. Make sure to be careful on the handle so you don't cut that one off while you cut around the ice cream itself. Make sure to flip the ice cream around to cut the back of the ice cream handle or use a handheld router to more easily cut that.
