46 x 10cm Walnut (2cm height)
42 x 6.5cm Birch (1.5 cm height)

Random Orbit sander or hand sander
Linseed oil or finish of your choice
Instructions
- Lay out the number template on your birch slab - For the base, I chose an on-tool rounded rectangle with the following dimensions. 44.5 x 9cm - I chose a cutout depth of 4mm for the walnut slab - Make sure to cut the negative parts (in the walnut piece) with an offset. I chose 0.3mm but depending on the fit you want it might be different. I recommend playing around starting with 0.2mm
