An alternate SYS-1 layout for the Shaper Origin and Workstation accessories. The vertical clamp cutouts are revised from the Shaper Assist files. There is a cutout for a 1/8" (Dremel and others) bit case, as well as holes for 1/2" diameter cutting bits to be stored upright. The collet and angle guide lock knob locations have been swapped from what is shown in the photo. Video of the process: https://youtu.be/8kPSJPBqU98

Materials

Cutting Jig:

- 18" x 24" sheet of 1/4" ply

- Two spacers cut to 1" x 1-5/8" x 24"

- screws or staples to assemble

Tools

- Shaper Origin

- 1/4" end mill (1" length is a plus)

- screwgun or stapler for jig assembly

Instructions

I used the cutting instructions and method found here: https://hub.shapertools.com/creators/59b9b947291ebbfa71254b56/shares/5e938182254f6b000fe65982 The guide line border on the file aligns with an 18" wide by 24" high piece of ply. The additional space at the top of the ply allows for placement of Shaper tape.
