We were inspired by the cookie press in Shaperhub. For Christmas gifts we have created several SVG files in which we have arranged the names around a circle (in mirror writing, of course) with a heart in the middle

Instructions

We bought a font that works as a single-line font and used Inkscape to put the names around a circle. The reason this project is classified as intermediate is because it took a lot of time (and lots of cookies to eat) to figure out the perfect depth. We achieved good results with the outer circle (for sawing out) with a depth of 0.5 mm, the name with a depth of 1.0 mm and the heart in the middle with a depth of 1.7 mm. The file creation with Inkscape also took a few tries before something useful arrived at Shaper Origin. We used pear and cherry wood with a thickness of 26 mm. The blanks for 5 workpieces had a size of 60x315 mm. After 5 workpieces had been milled, they were sawn into pieces with a band saw and individually sawn roughly round. They then got their final round shape on the lathe.
