Since I take the Shaper usb stick with me back and forward to the workshop, I needed something to protect it.

Materials

Scrap plywood, I used 12 mm thickness

4 little magnets (diameter 8 mm, thickness 4 mm)

Superglue for the magnets

Tools

Shaper Origin with 3 mm bit

Engraver bit if you want to add something on the outside

Instructions

Just import the svg-file 2 times on your workspace. For the pocket of the usb stick, you set the depth to 2,5 mm. When making the inside cut I used an offset of -0,1 mm so the stick goes in and out easily. The pockets for the magnets are made for 8 mm diameter and I did the pocket on 4,1 mm. If you have other dimensions for your magnets, you can use the offset on your Origin to adjust. As an extra, you can add a logo or text on the outside. For this I've cut an additional hole in my scrap plywood (use the same file but just do an inside cut for the outline) to hold my top piece, so it didn't move while engraving.
