A large and sturdy shelf for WS. It holds work up to 18 inches wide by 12 deep. BenchPilot can cut anywhere on that work without any need to reposition the work. Especially meant for multi-part inlays on cutting boards

3/4 inch plywood, at least 23 by 14.5 (shelf)
1/2 inch plywood, at least 23 by 14.5 (reinforcement)
(can use 3/4 for reinforcement if you don't have 1/2, but it'll be heavier)
Two sets of bench dog clamps:
Shelf Upgrade Kit (got to have the leg)
Extra bracket to fit the Upgrade leg to the shelf. Here is a hub project for a version from 1/2 plywood:

Shelf Upgrade Kit (not needed to make this projecr, but the leg is needed to use it)
Studio files are here if you prefer to use those: https://hub.shapertools.com/design/68c8a0b814ecb9778a51a100 https://hub.shapertools.com/design/68c8a10f14ecb9778a51a187 Make the cuts for the interior holes on the shelf. All are through holes except the counterbores for the bolts. Test fit the bench dog holes and add negative offset if needed. Make the exterior cut for the shelf. Same operations for the reinforcement. Use bench dogs to align the shelf and reinforcement for gluing. I nailed the parts together to hold them while the glue dries, but you can clamp. Attach the bracket to fit the Shelf Upgrade leg. Since this isn't a spoilboard, you will not need to remove the bracket, so its OK to screw it on. The shelf is designed for multi-part inlays. The work is clamped against the WS fence and the bench dog on the left. After a female recess is cut, the work can temporarily be removed from the shelf to install the male part, then returned to the exact same spot to mill overlapping parts. The technique is described in detail in this thread: https://community.shapertools.com/t/multi-part-tapered-inlay-knowledge-thread/15054
