Bit for mortise (1/4 inch is fine, 8mm is also fine)

Instructions

Cut a 2mm deep mortise to bury a long Keilverbinder (KB). I had to use a negative offset of .005 (inches) to get a good fit. The pilot holes are spaced to get the screws started in the right spots. If you use the mortise to bury the KB, the depth of the corresponding KB slot is 5.2 mm (the slot on the left in the photo). If you don't want to bury the KB, you can skip the mortise and just use the pilot holes, and of course the corresponding KB slot is the usual 7.2 mm (the slot on the right in the photo).
