This is a cheap vise but it works OK. My guess is every retrofit is going to be a bit different and have its own challenges. The video shows my experience, and I'm happy with how it turned out. The svg for this project should be an OK fit, but I had to add a fair amount of negative offset. (The castings on the vise are pretty rough, so a little extra room helps.) The bottom of the svg represents the top of the workbench. Use the custom anchor to line up the file with the top of the workbench. The cut line goes a quarter inch beyond the bench top to let the bit exit the cut on a straight line. Depth of the mortise depends on the thickness of the wood for the vise jaws. I had to cut about an inch and a half deep. Because of my particular bench, I had to mortise even deeper for the rear jaw mounting plate (couldn't use a router for that).
