Instructions

Mostly uploading the blank outline for people to use with their own creations! If you want to follow my process it is outlined here: Cut both scales with shaper out of 1/4" stock. Aim for scale thickness to be about .135" thick. I used a laser cutter for the core inserts that surround the blade, but you could use .08" material, or use 4 layers of .020" veneer. Glue everything together with epoxy and wood glue where needed. Tape the blade up so that you don't cut yourself! Clamp the blade in a vice while it is still taped up and begin standing by hand. Glue in the inlay material then sand. Apply finish. Remove tape. Make a leather sheath someday... Done!
