This project was made from maple nearly 7 mm thick but any close grained hardwood will do. The squares are 80 mm but can be scaled to suit your needs. Make extra stock to locate he squares in the same position if they have been pre cut on the table saw but they could just as easily be cut from a strip of stock on tool. The supplied 3 mm end mill worked well for all the cuts with very little cleaning up.

Materials

Close grained hardwood squares 80mm depending on how many you choose to make.

50 mm painters tape.

Superglue

Alternatively double sided tape (mine was difficult to remove)(will eventually try Shapers)

Tools

SO fitted with supplied 3mm bit.

Workstation if available.

150 grit sandpaper for cleaning up.

Instructions

If you use the method I used be sure to leave somewhere to lever out the squares when done. Whilst I used the painters tape and superglue method to hold down the squares. I don't think this is strictly necessary if the jig is a tight fit. Use the on tool box joint extension for the box or a draw string bag would work well. Feel free to adapt to suit your own purposes.
