I wanted to make a zero clearance insert for my Miter Saw. This one is easy to repeat when necessary.

Instructions

There are two adjustable inserts that come with the saw made of plastic. I wanted it to be solid. I used Shaper Trace to make a copy of one of the two inserts and imported it into Studio. The opening in the saw is 70mm wide so I created a box that was 70mm wide and as tall as the one insert. Then duplicated the one side insert, rotated it and lined the outer edges of the insert shapes with the outer edges of the box. I then used Make Shape to select the two sides and the open center to create the curves for front and back of the insert. I used 1/4" material and it is slightly undersized (Thin). I chose build up the shoulders on the saw that the insert rests on with Painters Tape to make it perfectly flat with the table. In my case it took 3 layers of tape.
