Router straight bit of your choice
Option 1: Using Fusion 360 Set the user parameter "thickness" of the material you are going to make the puzzle from in the Parameter dialogue. Create an SVG file for each of the 6 components numbered 1 to 6. Option 2: Using Inkscape Open the SVG files and scale the files to suit your material thickness. the SVG files supplied are for 10mm thickness material and form a 40mm cube. Dog-bones are not included in the design. I cut the dog-bones first using a negative offset of 0.146 x router diameter and plunged to the full thickness. The finishing cut had a negative offset of 0.1mm which gave a nice sliding fit. Assemble the cube and lightly sand the faces. Reassemble the cube with the inside faces on the outside and again lightly sand. I finished it with mineral oil. The cube shown is 24.3mm thick creating a 97.2mm cube and was cut with a 6mm router bit.
