Instructions

Begin this project by cutting the base plate first and then the legs. Depth of cut is in inches is shown in blue. Depending on the nominal thickness of the plywood you may need to use a little sandpaper to fit the clip into the .453" hole. A tight fit is necessary so the tripod does not wiggle around. The clip snap is designed for a .25" thick notch in the base. If the base plywood is thicker than .453" then your cut depth will need to be greater than .2". The base plate has extra holes for additional camera mount settings. Included files have generic holes and clips to add to your own projects. When cutting the tilt adjustment you do not need to cut the interlocking pattern if you don't need to have a repeatable angle when filming. There is an extra piece added that passes over the snap in leg to give additional support from wiggling. The cell phone clamp cut has some 1/8" alignment dowel holes to help with glueing the assembly together.
