One 4' by 8' Sheet of 3/16" Plywood Cut Into 8 Approximately 1' by 4' Pieces One Shaper Tape Board
Shaper Origin 1/8 cutter bit
When cutting these patterns, I stack 4 layers of 1 foot by 4 foot plywood pieces. The stack will be 3/4" thick. This works well with a 3/4" tape board. I screw the boards down to a spoil board. When cutting the big flakes out, I place a two screws in some of the small cutout holes to keep the snow flakes from moving around during the final outline cut. You will be able to efficiently cut 8 complete snowflakes from this stack. I made this pattern so you can get 16 snowflakes from one sheet of plywood. Once assembled seal or prime and paint with colorful or metallic paint. Hang outside with some heavy monofilament line. You could also wrap the snow flakes with USB fairy lights for nighttime enjoyment.
