My brother-in-law like to fish at Lake Murray, SC. So, I made this panel for him. The background is 1/2 inch Baltic birch plywood joined at the waterline by dominoes. The fish are holly and all the spots and mouths are pockets filled with black filler. I apologize for how overly green the water looks - I should have taken a video in natural lighting. Both the sky and water are built up from many layers of very pastel tints to give a depth and 3D look as you walk past it.
