This was taken from the "Woodworker's Journal" December 2020 - the project contains 14 ovals and was meant to be done on a gantry type CNC the magazine provided the ".tap" files for the CNC. I thought it was a great project to do on the Shaper. I created the ".SVG" file based on my interpretation of the magazines description.

Minimum 1" thick 7" x 9" Hardwood (I used Gummy Cherry and Walnut for the 2 clocks I made) A Quartz Clock Movement - Source Rockler or https://meiselwoodhobby.com/ Make sure you order the correct shaft length for your thickness (I used a 7/8") Don't forget to order hands Clear Molding epoxy Color pigment of your choice
5/16" drill bit 3" forstner bit or use shaper to cut 3" circular recess on back of face. 1/4" & 1/8" router bits
