This was originally rooted from the other project here on the hub with a similar board. I would have left the original board file off of my project because I’m not trying to take credit, however I might have changed dimensions, I honestly can’t remember so I am including it. Materials

Top and Bottom Boards:

21.25” X 18.75” X 5/8”

540mm X 476mm X 16mm

Drawers are 1.5” (38mm) thick and include two in each file.

I used leather straps and brass knobs to secure the drawers.

Cutting board feet. I don’t have a link to what I used because I bought a giant pack six or seven years ago and used almost the last of those. I do recommend using three feet, not four just in case your boards or table top isn’t dead flat, it will make it so your board doesn’t tip.

Tools

-However you dimension lumber, that will be needed.

-Origin

- I also used a laser to put the graphics on the pieces.

- Hole Punch for leather

- Predrill for Brass knobs

Instructions

BE SURE TO FIT PIECES AS YOU GO! Cut the board first so you can fit your hex pieces and ports to get the desired loose fit you would like. The drawers should also be cut with the game close by in order to fit the pieces in there. You want everything loose but not to loose. There are dados in the top and bottom of the boards that are just 1/8” deep. Those are there to align the side walls for the six drawers to ensure they are all evenly spaced. Other than those tips, it’s really an easy project. Hit me up if you have any questions.
