Made a cutting board out of Walnut, Maple, Cherry all 1.5" thick. Cut out with the Table saw. I hand joined the glue edges and used the Domino. The Star Inlay was pocketed out .15" deep. I used 1/4" bit initially w/small Offset. Finished with 1/16" bit for the final cut. I use a sharpe chisel to get the tips of the stars sharp. I Filled the pocket with blue stone and Clear Epoxy. The board was finished with mineral oil and Bees wax.
