I was jealous when I saw in Shaper Session Jake swapping to a spindle with an inverted engraving bit to probe. Obviously this save loads of time but is very pricey. Here is a 3D printed version of that extra spindle.

With the introduction of Larkspur I intend to use my Origin more for probing features. This project allows quickly swapping the spindle for a 0.25” (6,35mm) straight rod attachment bought for cheap on Amazon. I supply Fusion file for modification for European. I got inspired by another contributor that I fail to find is name to give him credit. But I made a version that is much more sturdy I believe. Larkspur is a game changer.
