Laptop / chair / bed desk Could also be stepstool or seat for toddler Made from 1/2" Sassafras (used what was available) Dimensions: 20" wide, 10" tall, 11" deep Created .svg files with Inkscape Could now use on-tool box joints Used Shaper Origin to shape edges of top and to cut handles on sides Box joints (created with on-tool design; cut using Shaper Workstation)

Instructions

Mill 1/2" thick stock Shaper Origin to cut curves to edges of the top SO to cut handles SO with Workstation to design and cut box joints Table saw L fence (Fine Woodworking) to trim protruding box joint elements Sand edges to soften Sand to 320 grit Finish with OSMO -- hard wax - extremely easy!
