This saw guide can be built for various types and sizes of hand held power saws such as circular saws and jigsaws. It will allow you to make straight, accurate cuts or break down sheet goods without having to use or set up a table saw. It’s very portable and can even be used in a home improvement store parking lot to break down full sheets of plywood or MDF with a battery powered circular saw for ease of transportation. Cuts made with this will be very straight and extremely accurate.

The FreeCAD file and some example output SVGs are included. Please use the included Build Instructions PDF file for complete directions for the build. The sample SVGs cannot be used unless you have the same saw as I do. They are included as example output only. They have been modified using Inkscape for fill, stroke width/color for my own use. You will need to generate your own per the Build Instructions. I recommend using the 0.19_pre release (or newer) of FreeCAD (https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/releases/tag/0.19_pre) as it is stable and has many newer features than the current stable release. If anyone wants to convert the file into a Fusion360 project, I'll upload it here to be part of this project.
