My first project. It's more of a model of what NOT to do. I realized that one has to be aware of the differences between the inside cuts and the radius of the cutter bit and outside cuts which preserve the sharp pointy edges of angles. Expand the finished image and you'll see gaps. A more careful sanding of the insert pieces would make this insert perfect. I intend to do this for real in a finished piece but I consider it a proof that SO can do this kind of inlay work easily.
