This works ONLY with a 1/2" shank, 1/2" cutter diameter router bit. The jig is set up to make a rabbet of 1/16" up to 1" in 1/16" increments. Simply put your bit into the router, then the appropriate hole for the rabbet you need and then scoot your fence up to the bottom edge of the jig, and you're done. But don't forget to set the height of your bit too. Photos, and comments welcome!

Materials

I designed it for 3/4" ply or solid wood, but half would work as well. I wouldn't use anything less, but of course you can always go bigger.

Tools

Shaper Origin

Any straight cut router bit smaller than 1/2".

Engraving bit if you wish to label the jig.

Instructions

Nothing fancy here. Simple, easy to use jig to set up your router table with a 1/2" shank, 1/2" cutter bit to make rabbets from 1/16" up to 1" in 1/16" increments. The holes for the router bit are built at .5" exactly. So be sure to check fitment for your specific bit and offset as needed for best fit. Photos, and comments welcome!
