I wanted a "Scandinavian Modern" looking engraving for the top of earring boxes for my granddaughters. I didn't want a "picture". This is the outcome. Note that for some reason I cannot select the SVG from My Files so the cut type and depth encodings are missing from the included file. I used .04 DoC and Online for all of it. The included file includes only the scene with border, no name.

Anything flat you can engrave with Origin. The wood shown is White Pine. It's a very stable wood, nearly white, fairly soft. I got this at Lowe's (not a typical source of good wood for projects!) . The widest boards are quarter sawn with pretty nice figure. Lowe's here calls them "White Boards".
Shaper Supplied 60° engraving bit for all cuts except...
15° engraving bit from ToolsToday for snowflakes. See instructions.
Not much to say for instructions. Place the file and engrave it. But I thought the snowflakes were too "bulky" with the standard 60° bit. Try it on some scrap to see what you think. If you need to scale this, I recommend scaling from the center so as to not distort the shapes. Hold down the Alt key while scaling from a corner in Studio with the Anchor set to the center. This is a link to the tool I used for the snowflakes. https://www.toolstoday.com/v-14595-45611-k.html
