Tools

Shaper Origin + 6mm cutter + engraving bit traditional router with a bearing router bit

Instructions

Template: 1. Cut out five of the curved template with the 6mm cutter. 2. Cut in some grooves in top and bottom (I did this with the circular saw but you can also use the 6mm router bit with the Shaper Origin). 3. Glue the template together. Balance Board: 1. Engrave the letters and sign with an engraving bit (30degree) 0,5mm deep. Use the S on the outside of the board for a test. 2. Use a 6mm cutter to cut out the shape step by step. 3. The second piece for the board, you have to cut bigger. So you have enough left over to glue it together on the curved mold. 4. After glueing, you just have to flush it with a bearing router bit and a traditional router 5. Finally I used a small rounding cutter to soften the edges.
