This small chair is based on simple mortise and tenon joints, which can easily be milled at the Workstation. Precise work is essential in this advanced project.

Materials

There are practically no limits to your choice of wood. You need following pieces:

3x Top 340 mm x 270 mm x 25 mm

3x Mid 300 mm x 55 mm x 38 mm

3x Triangle 430 mm x 55 mm x 38 mm

- Workstation

- Saw with precise angle adjustment of the saw blade (accurate to at least a tenth of a degree)

- Domio

- Glue

- Clamps

Instructions

1. Cut the Template_Saw and Template_WS using leftover 19 mm MDF or similar 2. Cut the Mid parts to 292.84 mm using 20° at one and 36.35°on the other end, so they fit into Template_WS 3. Cut the tenons to 20 mm depth on the Mid part using Template_WS 4. Cut the Triangle parts to 425 mm using 40° at one end 5. Cut the Triangle parts on the saw using Template_Saw and 41.56° tilt angle for the sawblade 6. Cut the mortises to 20.5 mm depth in the Triangle parts 7. Cut the Top parts on one side, use the 11° routerbit for the edge where they get glued up afterwards 8. Turn the Top parts and cut the mortises to 20.5 mm depth from the other side 9. Sand all the pieces 10. Use Domino to join the top parts and glue them up 11. Do the same for the triangle parts 12. Assemble the whole chair and glue up the tenons 13. Finish your delta chair with some oil 14. After oil is dry take a seat and enjoy a beer or coffee on your new Delta Chair
