Every Kid needs a locker to hide their personal treasures, or a school backpack or shelves to store books. This is made from 2 sheets of 3/4" MDF. In the cut list there are two 4x8 foot sheets to represent how to layout the cut list. This project is easy to cut out on Shaper Origin and or any CNC that one might have.

Materials

Two sheets of 3/4" MDF 4X8

8 screws

4 hinges

Tools

Shaper Origin with 1/4" Endmill

Router with round over bit

Screwdriver, clamps

Sandpaper

Drill with counter sink bit for screws

Instructions

Cut out all the parts. I used a 1/4" round over bit to smooth all the edges. Sanding everything, I prepped and painted all the parts to the kid's favorite color. Once dry and with a little finagling put the side on to the back panel sliding in the parts to their grooves. Slide the shelves to the side sliding in their slots put the other side on and fit the face frame to the front. Clamp everything. The shelves do not need screwing together as they are locked in by the four sides screwed together. Each side gets 4 screws above and below the slots on the cabinet sides locking in the shelves. Using the hinges affix the doors to the face frame. I took the time to personalize each cabinet with a Grandchild's name. They Loved their gift.
