3/4" Baltic Birch or 11/16 Ext Pine (Chile pine) Titebond 3 Glue
Clamps Micro pinner 23ga (optional) Drill & Screws 1/4" spiral cutting bit 1/8" quarter round bit for edges of frame once laminated. Shaper Origin
Double up the plywood so cut out 2 of each frame type for your plywood thickness. glue together and use some micro pins or clamps until glue dries. give all exposed edges an 1/8" round over. Hook frames together and pre-drill 4 holes for Stool seat screws. You can leave the half lap joint dry so the stool can be taken apart and folded flat or you can glue it for permanent assembly.
