- Your preferred wood larger than 80cm x 3cm or 65cm x 6cm with a thickness recommend being 18mm to 20mm
- Alu U-profile 1800mm x 13mm (outside width)
- 2 M3x15 countersunk screw
- 4 M3 screw-nuts (pref. self-locking)
- 2 cable 50cm with min. 2mm^2
- 2 luster terminal
- 2 cable lugs with an M3 hole
- 3 LEDs (6006 COB LED)
- teflon tape 30cm
- approx. 1m of standard cable >1mm^2
- LED driver (min. 36V and 1000mA - 1600mA depending on the LEDs and your preference)
- Shaper Origin
- Drill
- Lasercutter / Disksaw / ... for cutting the acrylic glass
- Soldering iron
Time to build 2-3h depending on available tools Steps: 1) Drill holes in the U-profile with a Distance of 30cm of the midpoint 2) Insert the 2 screws (one with teflon tape, so it is isolated form the alu) and a cable from the inside of the U-profile soldered on top or wrapped around the screw 3) Secure them with a nut 4) Tape the 3 LEDs in the U-profile, define the screw without the teflon tape as - and the one with as + and solder the LEDs in a row together with the two cables from the screws 5) Cut the acrylic glass so it (press-)fits in the U-profile 6) Crimp the cable lug to the 50cm cable and add each to one screw and secure it with a (self-locking) nut 7) Cut the Lampenhalter_v2 once and the Anschlussdose twice. I recommend using a 3mm cutter, but be aware of the tool is long enough to be inserted all the way through the wood. 8) Add the Anschlussdose to each cable and next pull the cable through the cable holes of the Lampenhalter_v2 9) Add the luster terminals to each cable and fix them on the preferred place of the cable to tune the height of the lamp 10) Solder the driver to the cables 11) enjoy;)
