Seat/cleat for a Lie-Nielson #4 Plane. -I call this a cleat as part of a set I'm working on that could easily be added to a hanging wall setup or simply stored in a well organized drawer

Materials

11x4" stock. I used 3/4 ply here, but any 3/4 should be good.

Tools

Suggest 16mm for clearing

1/4 was used for outside shape

1/8 for the blade clearance slot

Chisel to sharpen corners and a bit of sanding of you like.

Instructions

I found .3 inches deep was good. There is a space for blade clearance. I went to .4 there. I suggest adding magnets for holding as needed. (not much good for the brass plane!) I cut inside until I was right up against the line and it was fine.
