1. Begin by cutting out the two support brackets out of your 3/4" (19mm) material with Origin. Save a small piece of scrap from this material (~6"x 1" or 150mm x 25mm) for step 2. 2. In Workstation, sandwich the small scrap piece between the reference pins and your support piece (see image 2). This is to provide accurate hole placement regardless of small differences in material thickness. 3. Create a grid with probe 1 and 2 touching the clamping face and probe 3 touching the left side of the scrap piece. 4. Place the Mounting Hole file using the custom anchor anchor point at 0" x 0" (see image 3) 5. Using an 1/8" (3mm) bit, cut the holes marked "Pin" to a depth of 6mm. Test fit the dowel pins. You are going for a tight friction fit. The pins will be pressed in later. 6. The other two holes should be cut all the way through (0.51" or 13mm) for the mounting screws. Adjust offset so the screws fit in easily and have very little play. 7. Once both supports are finished, press in the dowel pins. 8. Cut your fence material to 18" x 6" (460mm x 150mm). 9. Flip Plate upside down, align the pins with the Accessory Rails, fasten the screws finger-tight, and clamp your fence board to the supports. Make sure the supports are square to the fence before attaching with wood screws. (see image 4) Note: Plate's Accessory Rail holes are set on 25mm spacing, with alternating threaded and locating holes. Depending on your needs, you can have your fence positioned at 0mm or 50mm from the center of the Plate window.
